My wife 's battery on her 2008 Ford Fiesta went flat whilst we were on holiday, and of course the radio went off and said it needed a code. I got the serial number which was a V number. I then got the code from some advice on here. I have had the code checked and it is definitely the correct code but it doesn't seem to work. Operator error, I am sure. The 6000 cd radio screen comes up with
code _ _ _ _ 00. I enter digits individually using buttons 1-4. That part works fine but when I press 5 to save the code nothing happens. If I press 5 and hold it down when I release it the radio just goes off. I have tried using button 6 to save it but the same happens. Can anyone tell me please what I am doing wrong?
