Car Radio Unlocking

Hi. I recently had a flat battery on my 54 plate focus, now its asking for radio code, I found a serial number and code in the handbook but code doesnt seem to work. Dont know if its incorrect book for this radio. Serial number in the book is v041258 and key code 9335. Its a 6000 CD RDS model radio. Just wondering if anyone can help with correct code. Thank you

Unusual having a V serial in a 54 plate, does it have round holes or long slots for the removal keys ?

Try pressing 6&1 or 6&2 together and see if the serial number appears on the screen, very clearly in the format M123456 or V654321. If it does not show then remove the unit from the dash and get the serial from the sticker, if M then post back on here, if V then ebay for less than £5.

Battery replaced.
Serial number = M000519.

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

Sorry....your code will only be available from someone with access to the VW Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service
