Ok, so the first attempt failed the SN was wrong - with the aid of a sawn up coat hanger, I now have the correct SN - it is M146312 on a 6000 CD Radio.

Hi. Wonder if anyone can help. I read on a forum that if you press 1 and 6 the serial number should come up. I tried this and FDD2006V038597 was displayed. Does this mean the serial number is last 7 digits? Thanks0
