    NO the code is from the serial number for that radio only if it worked last time it should work this time !!
    TO ENTER CODE - press station preset button 1 repeatedly for 1st diget of your keycode - repeat the same on - 2 for 2nd - 3 for 3rd - 4 for 4th - & if the display then shows the correct keycode number press preset button 5 to enter - photo shows radio extractor keys & serial number on the radio casing - go to u-tube & see remove ford radio

    Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

    See your PM message for cheap and reliable options

    Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service

    Hi Dave. Thanks for your help with the fester code the other day.
    I'm about to sell my Mondeo and put the original stereo back in but guess what, ain't got a clue what the code is!
    So sorry to bother you again but could I please have the code for a 6000CD, s/n - M617344?

    Hi, another disconnected battery at the garage, seller did not provide the code and can't find it written anywhere. If possible, can someone please supply an unlock code for:-
