CLARION are a bit of a problem to decode as the only one that can be decoded for free by Serial Number is if yours also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 + + + + ..

If yours does not have this C7000000++++ Serial Number anywhere on your radio then you will have to pay at your Main Dealer or a Decode Specialist.or a local Car Radio / Audio Shop who carry out decodes ( The shop is usually the cheapest option)

theres a barcode, and the 7 numbered serial is above it. does the 7 numbered serial not work then?

Yeah, the code in the book is different to the one on the radio, the one on the radio is M032052, if you wouldn't mind giving me the code for that one please?

    Your code should be 1475

Sorry ...but you must re-read my previous answer and you will see that the Serial Number required must begin with C7000000 ++++ and not CL as you have quoted.

If you do not have this other Serial Number then the code will not be available for free from anywhere on the Internet.

Try your Main Dealer or a Decode Specialist or the cheapest option (if available) your local Car Radio / Audio Shop
  • Please help as I am wasting £££ on ebay and duff radio unlocking programmes for my V reg renault scenic.
