It has a Grundig Aura 2 unit
SEZ2Z6C1001721
and another number on it 022436.
Code would be 4 digits from 1-6.

Thanks guys. Main dealers going to charge me between £20 and £50 plus vat!

bought a ford s-max yesterday and can't find the code. The dealer offered to remove the unit to find the serial no but not until friday so thought I'd asked you guys!

When pressing 6 and 1 I found the following number:

SN: SOCD188V005180

And as far as I understand it's the V005180 that one needs to retrieve the codes? If not please let me know what's needed.

Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.
