I need a code for my radio, but don't have a serial number beginning with M or V.

Pressing 6 & 1 together brings up this: DSP 50600500 255.

Does this mean anything to the experts here, or will I need to get the tool to remove my radio to see the serial number?

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

It is a sound 2000 and has 2005 then 89FB-18K876-AB and 0767195 below it.

if it`s a three digit code try 966

Went to check fuses on my Nissan Interstar today and managed to disconnect radio.

Don't have the code. it's a Renault Radio
