The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a codeHi, First time posting so apologies in advance for anything I do wrong.
Just got the battery changed on my ford focus and the audio code needs to be entered (which the previous owner lost), have contacted ford and they are asking for £20.00 to give it to me. Can anyone help.
It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

I replaced my car radio at the weekend and now need a code for it and the one I replaced it with. Any help would be greatly recieved.

Can provide vehicle details if needed.TO ENTER CODE - press station preset button 1 repeatedly for 1st diget of your keycode - repeat the same on - 2 for 2nd - 3 for 3rd - 4 for 4th - & if the display then shows the correct keycode number press preset button 5 to enter - photo shows radio extractor keys & serial number on the radio casing - go to u-tube & see remove ford radio0 -
