Make sure you are quoting the correct Serial Number as any numbers found in car documents , audio guides etc. are often incorrect.

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hi please could anyone help out,ive got a ford focus 52plate and I can't get the code for my radio. The serial number is m284942 the model is 4000rds. Would be very grateful if anyone could help

I've ran this in my database at it looks like you've got a VDO rather than a Delco CDR2005

There is a way to decode this via its internal chip called a 24c16smd device..

I'll gladly talk you through the process if you like
