Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main VW Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free from anywhere on the Internet

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

Had to replace battery and now can't get the radio working. Says I need a code.
However, have read some pages of this thread.......when I press 1+6 I don't get a serial code, I get this:

DP MV SH
50700012
07-02-00

Any ideas how to get the serial....other than removing the radio (don't have the 'keys' to do it).

If pressing 6&1 or 6&2 does not get the serial then the only way is to remove the unit. Keys cost less than £2 on Ebay.
