Car Radio Unlocking

hi all I just bought a ford escort and the radio don't work it says lock 10 when I switch it on does anyone no how to get rid of this and also what the code may be my serial number is M009175 any help appreciated thanks

BUT we must ask ( because you have displayed Lock 10 ) why so many failed attempts ?
How did you obtain the M 0009175 ?

Leave the radio on for a long time , the radio is only 'dead' when it displays Lock 13 , now we have only a couple of more attempts .

Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

thanks for your help I don't no y so many failed attempts as I said only just bought it so must of been guy before me messin about with it will update you later and let you no how I get on :beer:
as for getting the serial number I took the radio out and had a look on the top of it as was told how to via youtube
