never been on a forum before so not sure how to do it lol
does anyone have the code for M007224 ford radio, desperate, thanx

Howdy folks,

I got a radio code and it isn't working. Ford are even unsure where to go from here / The code is apparently 3061 and matches the serial number (M023592) on the Ford system, but the code ain't working.

Any ideas?

3061 is the correct code for that serial. Where did you get the serial from, if not directly off of the sticker on the back of the unit (or in some cases pressing 6&1 or 6&2) then it cannot be trusted.

Code is off the radio. I got it, then Ford checked it and tried the number. I, and Ford, am stumped!

Edit: I just checked the 6&1 thing and it also displays the same serial.

Which means that at some stage it has been re-coded. The options are getting it read by a pro decoder or getting a new unit.

I have managed to get hold of the radio removal keys.

Unfortunately, my radio is one of the dreaded V series

Serial No = V055201

Any clues gratefully received.
