I lost it..:mad:

On the radio it says (paper label on the radio) :
GM vdo 330886636
No; 24469302
TYPE: CDR 500 (E)

At the bottum of the paper label there are two bar codes.
the numbers under the barcodes are:

9022 214 03759 02
and
003 0233 1531517

On the side (stamped in the metal casing) it says: GM050021531517

I am astonished.

My battery was flat today, so I had to get it replaced. Halfords were very good, fitting the new battery for only £7 fitting charge. So far so good.

Went to the handbook wallet to get the stereo security code and the card for recording it was blank. I bought the mondeo 5 years ago 2nd hand and had never thought to check.

Phoned the local Ford dealer who said they could "book it in for a £30 charge" .

I will try and get the radio serial number and post it on here instead. However, to remove the radio, I require specialist keys. I have ordered four on ebay (£1.25), so assuming they arrive at the end of the week, I'll post on here then.

Never easy is it (sigh) ?
