    The serial number will be in the form M123456 or V123456. Try pressing 6&1 or 6&2 and the number may appear on the display clearly in the format mentioned. If not then remove the unit from the dash and get the serial from the sticker.

    Please take a look at your private messages on the header at the top of the page for V code info

    there are 2 barcodes the second was is 00398131889410

    the code stamped on the side is
    Code GM0400W1889410

    it looks like the seal has been broken on the radio
