• hello there i was wondering if anyone can help me unlock my clarion radio, i thought i was being all clever and stuff trying to fix my central locking on my pug 306 and i have somehow switched the radio off so its asking me for the code, and as well as having no idea how to fix central lock, i have no idea what the code is.

heres a few numbers off the thing.

PU9983 book says clarion 3035

barcode or serial numbers
cbcbe0072855
c70000005636

286-8497-03
96241480
0072855

ANY HELP WITH THIS would be awesome. peugeot want £28 for me to tell them the serial number to get the code. what a cheek!

You are one of the lucky CLARION code seekers because you have a barcode Serial Number beginning with C7000000++++

Your code is 6264

Hi I was wondering if you could help with a code i need for my Renault Megane, i'm going mad without my music in the car.

This is all the info off the stickers on the radio

Model 22DC279/62T

TOR141
RN279FY0092379

Product No FD0300480092379

700434423TR141
0092379
7700434423

Not sure what they all mean but hopefully you do, i'd be forever grateful if you could help me.

Sorry.......... these Serial Numbers are not in my PHILIPS database but if you email restoredclassic@aol.com then they may be able to help as they have access to a much larger database for these Philips radios

Quote everything......all the letters+numbers

(Mention this forum and there should be no charge )
• cheers for that. that code doesnt work im afriad. its very simply to work it out aswell.
the last 4 digits of the serial number eg. 5636

then add 1,2,3,4 these amouts to each digit eg

5 + 1 = 6
6 + 2 = 8 (when the number is more than 6, like in this case you need to minus 6) therefore 2
3 + 3 = 6
6 + 4 =10-6= 4

code should be like you say 6264, but it doesnt seem to be corect.

would the fact that the stereo display is - - - - have anything to do with it?
i can press the bnd button on the stereo which then changes the display to CODE IN but if thats definately the code i cant understand why it doesnt work.

As you seem to know all about Clarion codes then I won`t be wasting any more of my time with your queries
