I would inform all my colleges, that we try to offer only one code per poster.
This was suggested some time ago to stop newbie poster reselling the codes we freely supply.I know ( as you do ) how easy it is to calculate Ford M codes.
I am NOT suggesting that the above poster is doing anything wrong, but checking other similar threads does show more than one request.
I urge all of you to follow the example of RegWorts and myself , to try and stick to this philosophy. It was only last year we were accused of 'encouraging ' the stealing of car radios , because of our Free service.
On a lighter note, I need 49 to reach 1000.0 -

hi
My son's car battery needed charging a couple of weeks back. he took it out of the car and once recharged it put it back. The radio no longer works, as he needs code for it. He had bought the car off my nephew, who did not have the code for the radio either and had not needed it before.
It has taken a couple of weeks for me to post as i had written to a couple of people before now and not had any reply.
I would be willing for anyones help, as the local ford car dealer wants £30 to get the code. The serial for the radio (or radio number ) is : m990555. (its a Ford Ka)
thank you
karen
(i will be willing to supply name and address if that is wished).0 -

Hi. Regworts helped me out in January when my Laguna battery died and supplied the correct code. Now my brothers renault van has had to have the battery changed and he has the same problem with the code on the radio. There is a sticker on the side of the radio that says Renault and model No:22DC229/62M then below 2 barcodes it says T0D987 then RN229F20227908. Below that it says PROD NO: FD0202370227908
and finally there is another number 8200153737TD897. Hoping you can help, many thanks Tony.0
