  • Hi

I had a new battery fitted and after promising me they wouldn't diconnect the stereo, they have left me without a code for my radio. :(

I do hope that you can help. I am not sure what numbers you need, but here are the ones on the side of the set:

    RNRDBQ600016903
    RENRDW333-10
    FD0006240016903

Then there are some numbers under a barcode:

8200633644T and in a box next to these numbers is: Y462-SECURITY

I hope all of that helps.

P.S. I understand that you only like to give one code per poster, for good and obvious reasons. But I am led to believe that the autochanger might also have its own separate code, would it be possible to get that code from you if I need it? I will understand if you were to say no. :)

    Thank you for the reply.
I wonder if this is because it was originally exported to Japan?

Does anyone know if the uk and japanese radios of this era would have been been the same spec?

    Many thanks for the reply.
I don`t know about this particular radio but often there is a different spec for the radio station tuning .I know that the USA tuning can be slightly different to the UK/Europe tuning

The chances are that yours is not the original radio for the car because your Serial Number is later and is just beyond the available database which ends in approx year 2000

    Try code 1524

I believe that the associated CD player may use the same code but if not just post the details and I`ll see if I can answer it .
