Your code should be 3803

thank you very much..but excuse my ignorance, How should I enter it?

the only button works is the on/of and then a message "locked" appears in the screen, but no other control works.
I am sure there is a combination of pushing two things at the same time or something similar, but, can you tel me How.

I really appreciate the very fast response you have given me. Thankss!!

Your radio is made by Philips.

Unfortunately .......... these Serial Numbers are not in my PHILIPS database but if you email restoredclassic@aol.com then they may be able to help as they have access to a much larger database for these Renault / Philips radios

Quote everything......all the letters+numbers

(Mention this forum and there should be no charge )

Awwww, crap! Well, thanks anyway! I sent an e-mail a little while ago. Hopefully I'll get the code by morning so I can drive whilst listening to some music!

(Also, I may as well throw this question out there). Does anybody know what button you pres to confirm a code on a bog standard Blaupunkt casette car radio? Knowing my luck I'll punch in the code, not know which button to press to confirm it and !!!!!! the radio even more!

Remember that your radio is a Philips and not a Blaupunkt.

See here for the entry instructions

If it says LOCKED on the display then it means that your radio has had several wrong codes entered previously.

Providing it wasn`t too many (more than 10 ) , then it can reset itself by leaving it SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to reset ( Could be several hours)

Once reset the entry instructions are

Switch the radio on

Display Shows CODE with - - - - flashing

Press preset button 1 repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset button 2 repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset button 3 repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset button 4 repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown on the display
Press RH Tuning Button > to enter the code
