i checked the radio and there is no 14 digit serial number
the only number starting gm i found is GM 90 493 281
and on the radio metal case there is number 90 566 821

Hi I need the radio code as my car has had a flat battery but I don't know how to get the radio out to find a serial number! Can you find a code from the VIN number? Hope someone can advise me!

Hi can anyone help with a code for my Ford Galaxy 6000cd Stereo.
The battery went flat so now no radio nightmare on long journeys !
Got the code of the radio eventually but i refuse to pay the dealer £20.00 for some numbers.
The code is VKN039353
