I have a Fiat 500 Bosch radio that is locked out. I got a code online this afternoon but think I've been ripped off as its 2980 yet my stereo buttons only go up to 6 am I being a bit dim?

The serial no is CM829091934764

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

Shouldn`t you really be asking the 2980 Code supplier this question??

Most Fiat radio codes are usually between 1111-6666 as they are entered directly using the Buttons 1 > 6 on your radio.

If you want it checked here then post all the letters and numbers on the label on your radio.
