Car Radio Unlocking

Hi can anybody help. I need the code for my car stereo. Its for a Vauxhall Corsa and the stereo is a Siemens VDO.

I have seen that some people seem to have the software to obtain these? If so, please can you help? I know I can get it through Vauxhall but i'm desperate for it & they only rip you off!!

The serial number for the stereo is : GM020543173862.

I should say DaveN's code was correct, the failure most likely to do with a small child, silver paper and some interesting holes in the stereo chassis!
