Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

Just purchased a Ford 4500 EON Stereo on Ebay for my wifes car and the code it came with doesnt work. Could you please advise a code for it so I can complete the install and stop her nagging

Morning

Finally got round to changing my car battery safe in the knowledge i had my key code written down :-)

However on entering said keycode into the radio it didnt work :-(

I dont have DIN keys to get radio out, so tried the 6&1 trick and i got :-
5070 1940
DP MV SH(or possible 5H)
09 00 00

Is this any good in helping me solve the key code mystery?
Its a 04 ford focus 6000cd rds.

Should i bother going to halfords for DIN keys to get proper serial or am i destined for a ford dealer?
