The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hi

I have a Ford Focus and the family let the battery go flat whilst I was on holiday. After an exhaustive search we have been unable to locate the radio security code. The local Ford dealer quoted $400 ??? to resolve the issue. I have accessed the 6000CD radio serial number (M353220) and would very much appreciate someone's kind assistance with the corresponding security code. Thankyou in anticipation.
