Thanks for the above but it unfortunately didn't work the serial number is wrote on the radio on a label in biro (minus the letter prefix) so could 'V' be correct? I have also just checked by using the 'press 6 and 1 together' method as suggested by a previous poster, when i done this it came up with...

I am guessing this isn't correct?

Hi,

I had to change the battery on my 2007 ford s max and now the sony radio is locked. I held on the 6+1 buttons and this appeared as the serial number

S/N : S0CD1X7V003389

Is this enough to help get the unlock code?

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service

Couple of quick questions

LOCK or LOCK 13

code for M043235 is 9337 , is this the code you have already tried?

I held down the number 6 and turned on the radio and kept it held down. It then changed from saying security locked to enter code. I entered the code you gave and I have sound! Thanks
