  • Hi Reg,

I have just purchased a Peugeot 206 with a Blaupunkt Peugeot T1 Top stereo.

Not sure what the numbers should be, so I wrote them all down hoping you can help:

    BP8145W8821683 - the "W" could be a "H" or an "M" as it isn't too clear

    7 648 145 392

Also, the radio display says "RAdio Locked" Not sure how i can get it to ask me for the 4 digit code so will need advice on that too. Bit of a novice with these things and I will donate the £10 or so I would otherwise get charged to the NSPCC when I complete My second Manchester to Blackpool cycle ride this July.

    Hope you can help.

  • Hi All

My local Citroen garage in Canterbury would normally supply me with the code for my Xantia but their system has been down since the middle of November and I am fed up with listening to the few MP3s that my mobile phone holds on my 90 mile commute each day.

The Phillips beasty has the following numbers on the side:
    Prod No: FD 0800199123193
    PHACFFY9123193
    Ref. Citroen: 96 3921928000
    PHF9123193

Hope this all makes sense to somebody.

Are there any more LETTERS+NUMBERS anywhere on your radio.

There is possibly a Security Number ...something like TB123 or B123 or T!!!23
Possibly on a barcode or at the end of a string of numbers beginning with 7 or 9.

    Your code should be 6331

If the radio says LOCKED then it might have had far too many wrong codes entered for it to be unlocked by normal means.

Try leaving it SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as possible and it might reset itself.

    Hi Reg

I'm afraid there probably isn't. I will check tomorrow as it is still in the car at the moment and the FA Cup highlights are on!

    Cheers

Cheers Reg. I will give it a try and let you know how I get on. I have had a look round a few manuals for peugeots and that is what they recommend to get the code prompt. Tried it without the keys in but looks like i'll have to try with the key in and the battery left on. Failing that I'll try disconnecting the battery for a day or so.
