thanks again, but when i repeatedly press all i get is 4 1's showing then the error code again. any more ideas? again i thank you for your effort.

I bought a car recently but never got the stereo code info so don't know if it really works in the first place even if I go to Ford and obtain it for the cost of £20 could be wasted cost need your good help!! thanks in advance

Then quote the 14 character SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
PH* * * * * * * * * * * * found stamped in the metal casing.

Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes

OK ...If it`s a Peugeot try code 6542


Code Entry as Follows:

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" CODE " then " - - - - "
Enter CODE in the order it is read 6542
Press Preset 6
then Preset 5
then Preset 4
then Preset 2
The radio should now work
