I have just changed the vehicles battery, only to find the key code was not supplied with the car when it was purchased (Didn't check beforehand).

Ford want £30, which is a rip off, considering all they do is look it up on their database.

Your radio is not a Blaupunkt but made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
(Note ...not beginning with CL.)

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio.

Hi, could anyone please help me in obtaining a code for my rds radio. Basically my car battery got changed and now my car stereo is not working it is asking for a code, i'm glad ive come across this forum and im hoping someone can please help me, i notice the serial number is needed and it is M319313.
