Hi, Could you please assist me with mine too. I am unable to gain access to my Nissan Note Tekna, but opening the mat in the closet where I attach my iphone, just above the radion, I saw these numbers, hoping they are the serial numbers and others needed.

    I am grateful in advance.
The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

Thanks for the quick response, I will get back to you when I get it, which leads to another issue, I do not know how to remove it.

  • Hi,

Really hoping someone can help. I have purchased a 2nd hand car and the radio code in the owners handbook is not working. The car is a Ford Focus Sport.

I don't know if I have the wrong handbook for the car and I haven't taken the radio out to look for the serial number.

There is a serial number in the handbook which is M159538. Can somebody please provide me with a radio code for this serial number? I am clutching at straws and hoping that the code someone gives me is different from the code I already have.

Thank you in advance if you can help.

    The code for s/n M159538 is.... 2314.

Reading between the lines , you have a code , but it fails to work??
If you have tried 2314 , your next step is to remove radio from dashboard.

You only ( ?? ) have a limited number of attempts before the radio 'dies' .So keep us informed.
  • Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the code you have provided is the same one as in the handbook that I have. Looks like its the wrong handbook!

Have never removed a car radio before so not sure how to do that. Will see what I can do and if I can find the serial number I'll post it on here.

    Thank you once again.

Ok , some help coming .

Turn radio on and press 6th button and 1/2 buttons ..this just might bring up the magic M******. But this only works on some radios.

Other than that , you will need to remove radio . Thousands do it every year with our help .

Go to youtube and do a search , some useful short clips on how easy it is.

You can buy the 'keys ' on ebay ...... £3
    Halfords about £6

Or my fav , cut the corner's off a wire coat hanger ( or you require is two loops of stif wire)
Just fuly insert , no problems , you can't damage anything.
  • Need code for my 4000 RDS radio
    Serial : M062231
    Thanks in advice !
