Sorry....will only be available from the Main Dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to obtain this code

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

My dad suffered a mild stroke last April and having decided to stop driving he has transferred his 2003 Ford Mondeo Mistral to me. Problem is that he doesn't know the radio code and after a flat battery incident we are now driving in serene silence!

Someone kindly helped me out with a code for my old Ford Escort 2 years ago so I am hoping for similar good fortune this time if anyone can help.

As mentioned it is for a 2003 (1st reg date 11/04/2003) Ford Mondeo Mistral and the information printed on the white label on top of the radio (Model no. 6000CD RDS E O.N = radio and single CD disc player) is:-

FD600A 2 M714894
FORD AUDIO SYSTEMS
OCT 07 (**)
END 260 241

**Have no idea what the Oct 07 date signifies as my Dad bought the car in 2004 and says that he did not have the radio retro-fitted.

Anyway, if anyone can help me out with the correct radio code it would be greatly appreciated.
