on 3 successive readouts.
I'd be so appreciative of the code to reactivate it. Haven't had any sounds since the battery was replaced and I'm driving up north tomorrow.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

i have been on holiday for several weeks got back home and my car was totally flat. now my radio is asking for a code and the main dealer want £20.

Codes for Ford V serials are not available free anywhere. It will be available from your local Ford dealership or radio decoding service. Try a search of the internet and sites such as ebay for the best deal or here http://ukbookshelf.co.uk/FordV or http://www.restoredclassic.cjb.net/
