I have a ford ka 03 and have a radio 6000, I've tried pressing 1 and 6 together but just get an 8 digit number without and m or v at the beginning... Any ideas of how else I can get the serial number? Preferably without taking the radio out?

Quick and certain answer.............NO!

But removing the radio is not that difficult, hundreds do it every year, Takes very little equipment , a very short time and very little skill.

YouTube is a great source of a video showing how.
Ebay will show the equipment you need
( a wirecoat hanger will do )
