Codes for Ford V serials are not available free anywhere. It will be available from your local Ford dealership or radio decoding service. Try a search of the internet and sites such as ebay for the best deal or here http://ukbookshelf.co.uk/FordV or http://www.restoredclassic.cjb.net/

Yes you can unlock the radio you need to hold down the number six button and and turn the radio on it will then unlock the radio and give you another chance at putting in the correct code but you need to make sure that the code you put in is correct as if you get it wrong again it will lock the radio for good

Read carefully as your on your last chance at unlocking it,

Hold buttons 1 & 6 while turning radio on, keep buttons pressed for ten seconds & you get one last chance.
Some models you only need to use button 6.

Earlier models used buttons 1 & 4 but don't think will work with RDS 5000, the 1 & 6 method has worked on Traffic 7000.

If you get the chance to enter the code once more enter the code given above, MAKE SURE YOU ENTER IT CORRECTLY!!!.

Here is how to input the code.

Radio Code Entry

Late Four Digit Ford Radio Codes (no SELECT button)

ie. Ford 3000 Traffic, 4000RDS, 5000RDS, 6000RDS, 6006E, etc

Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display

Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press button 5 to enter.

If "LOCK 10" is shown on the display, please contact us for guidance. If the display shows "LOCK 13" code entry will not be possible, and the unit will need to be electronically decoded by a car radio servicing specialist.

ie. Ford 2005, 2006, 2015, etc

Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display.

If CODE does not appear immediately, press the SELECT button momentarily, and CODE should then appear on the display.

Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
Once the code has been correctly selected on the radio's display, press the "SELECT" button to enter.

Not sure which model you've got:

I put the code in....0474 as instructed but it did not work...it's now saying code and 12 underneath it....
The sterio is a ford model 5000 RDS EON and serial number is M192603...it's in my 02 transit van....

Hi I'm trying to get a stereo code for my focus but unfortunately cannot seem to find the serial number for it anywhere, I've taken off the button plate but there is no code to be found on or under it could anyone help me please? Many thanks in advance
