Car Radio Unlocking

Hi regworts.

I bought a mondeo last week and the wife left the lights on... dead battery and no radio. I have the code with the stereo paperwork but doesn't seem to work. Could it have been changed by a previous owner?
Serial num is M013390 and the code I have is 7541. Any help would be massively appreciated.

That code is correct for the given serial. Try pressing 6&1 or 6&2 together and the serial may appear on the screen otherwise you need to pull the unit out and get the serial number from the sticker.

The actual serial number is coming up as M013439. Any chance of a code for that?

That worked Molerat. Thanks so much. Endured 5 hours without any tunes yesterday and its surprising how much you miss it. Will do a hfh donation.
