    Sorry.......... these Serial Numbers are not in my PHILIPS database but if you email [EMAIL="restoredclassic@aol.com"]restoredclassic@aol.com[/EMAIL] then they may be able to help as they have a much larger database for these Renault / Philips radios (Mention this forum and there should be no charge)

    Make sure you quote all the details above

    Please quote the MAKE+MODEL of the radio plus ALL the NUMBERS+LETTERS on any LABELS, BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING

    ok thanks, radio cd player is a VDO CDR 500 (E)

    there are 2 bar codes on white labels they are
    9022 214 03759 00
    003 0140 1087716

    and the number stamped into the metal on the side is
    GM050011087716

    Sorry....it is highly unlikely that you will be able to obtain a VDO(SIEMENS/DELCO ) code from any of these free Help Forums.

    Main Dealer or Professional Radio Decode Specialist only.

    Sorry fist time user but than you very much youv`e made a father very happy as it was my daughtrs radio, I had to disconect the battery because the alarm was going off and as you can imagine ~it`s all my fault~ but again thanks very much it worked.
