Car is a 99T 5 door with a Clarion radio/cassette.

Peugeot description is a 3035 unit, removing it shows label saying:

PU1570C

Serial No. CL0339X0339354

It also has the following:

286-8497-20

and

96317417 ZL

and has numbers stamped into the casing which end .....1614 (can't read first bit)

Have looked on other forums which suggest adding 1,2,3,4 to the last 4 digits of the serial No. and subtracting 6 if this results in a number greater than 6, which gives me 4522 - I've tried this but no luck.

The only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
(Note ...not beginning with CL.)



If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio.

If you do not have this C7000000 + + + + barcode then see your PM
