Hi i have a T Reg mondeo mk2 i disconnected the battery to sort the alarm out and realised i didnt have the radio code the serial number i got by pressing 1 and 6 at the same time it reads MGPDJS4-06 can someone help pls

Quick answer ....... No.
Pressing 6+ 1 or 6+2 only works on a very limited number of ford radios , best known is the 4500 ( found on the fiesta)

Remove radio from dash , check out youtube for instructions .

Cut down wire coat hanger to make two loops .

People fail with the coat hanger trick because they dont push the wires in enough , you can't do any damage , the wires only disengage the radio clips.

how do i get the serial

do i defo have to remove the radio with the coat hangers? or can i access it another way
