Your code for serial M064961 is

    5156
  • Does anyone know if Ford keep a record of the 6000cd serial numbers against the car registrations?

They have given the code in the book with the car but the code does not work (and they did not stick the serial number in the booklet!)- based on other evidence I suspect they have the wrong book with the car so need to see if I can find the car that has my code!

    Thank you in advance

This unit may display the Serial No. Try Holding down 6 and 1 Or 6 and 2, The Serial No. M****** Or V****** may be displayed.
The surest way to find the Serial No. is to remove the radio and find the No. on label. You may need to turn unit on while holding down 6+1 or 6+2.

    Thank you Rodnai -

    I have tried 6 + 1 - just get some 'default' information - no serial number. 6 + 2 does nothing.

I realise I will probably have to get the unit out but have no tool (tried a coat hangar but it did not want to play!)

    Any further thoughts gratefully received.
