V serial codes are not available free. They are available for less than £5 on eBay / the internet though.

Press 1 repeatedly until the correct number appears in the first -
Press 2 ........................................................................... second -
Press 3 .....................
Press 4 .................
Press 5 to enter the code.

If this does not work STOP . Where did you get your M number from, if from a book / piece of paper and not directly from the radio it cannot be trusted.

Thanks Molerat, i got the code by pressing 6 then 2 on the stereo to get the m number, it is still counting down, maybe when it finishes it will work !! or should i stop it before it gets to zero ? sorry to mither

Have double checked the code supplied .........M490386 which gives 6289

So please check again your M number ,
Did you enter ( and see) 6289 displayed then press the 5th button ?
