I wonder if anyone can help. I have just brought a Ford Fiesta 54 plate. I am wondering whether or not anyone knows where I can find the serial number? Because I really need to find out the radio code, which wasn't written down by the previous owner.

If you look in recent posts you may find some ideas best to remove unit Serial No. is on label top and side of unit.

However I have tried that number three times with no success.

I retrieved the serial number from pressing 6 + 1. Will the serial number be the same if I take the unit out? Or is it worth giving that a go to see if it has a different serial number?

You can use carefully if you can find two pieces of fairly hard wire 7 inches long 3mm dia. wire cloths hanger for example bend like U to fit two holes either side front of unit and push in carefully to release unit when wires pushed in you may have to push outwards from center of unit to release catches.

Yes safest way is to get serial No. on the units label. you should be sure code is correct on display before you push 5 you only have a limited number of attempts if code is correct and input correctly will work first time. You get 3 instant attempts before entering the waiting game and time doubles for each wrong attempt. So do not keep trying a code that does not work Always check Serial No. has been posted correctly.
