Can you help me i can't get the radio out to get the serial number. I was told to also get the serial number I was to hold the number six on the radio and press the number one!. This is what I got: DP MV 5H 225, 50702000, 09-00-00 CD, and the radio modle is 6000 cd rds e-o-n.

Please can anyone help me???...

My wife's clutch went 3 months ago and the mechanic must have disconneceted the battery when he was replacing it. She's only just told me and she's gone 3 months without using it and is unable to play the CD I got her for Christmas! I called the local Renault dealer that we bought the car from, assuming (naively) that they would just tell me the code and they quoted me a price of £25 +VAT for their troubles. As a desperate last ditch alternative I googled the problem and ended up here!

I would be extremely grateful if anybody could supply me with a useable code.

After (worryingly) easily being able to remove the stereo from her 53 registered Renault Clio, I have found the following numbers:

Model no : 22DC278/62B
Prod no : FD0603430636446

Please let me know if there's any additional information that is required.
