Ford V Serial codes are not available for free from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

See your PM message for cheapest suggestions

Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321

I have a different coding problem! Following a battery disconnection, my Zafira radio (an 0500) has run into a problem. Unfortunately I tried to recode it using the wrong number (Stupid me). After 3 attepts, so seven remaining, the radio now refuses to reach the 7 _ _ _ _ position, allowing me to enter the correct code. All I can get is 7 SAFE. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be and what I can do about it?

Hi there,
I've just bought a Peugeot 306 from a little old lady who has conveniently lost the key code!
We've looked at the on-line calculators and worked out that the code should be 4257 but there are only buttons numbered 1-6 on the radio so we can't enter the code!Y
The radio is - PU-2994A (C)
The serial number is - CL0401Y0363029
Peugeot have said they'll charge me £30 to supply the number, but I'm reluctant to pay this as I don't even know that the radio/CD will work anyway!
Any help would be greatfully received.
