Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes

Its a Nissan Micra 1.2S 04 Model.

I got a replacement part and it included the radio which worked fine til i needed a new battery. It doesn't have a sticky label, only 86351233930 as serial number engraved at the back of the radio. It think its a Blaupunkt as the previous one had another serial number starting BP.

It should have a 14 character serial Number stamped in the metal casing and beginning with BP++++++++++++ if it is a Blaupunkt.

Hello again DatabaseError! You kindly gave me the code 7233 to unlock my radio but it's not worked I punched in the code but nothing happens - am I being thick? Do I need to press anything else after the code has been entered? Many thanks x
