well i took my radio to the nissan garage with my proof of ownership and a few tap's on a few keys and bang i now have the code FOR FREE

nope, double checked and still get 6104 as the outputted code.

I suspect you're perhaps inputting it incorrectly? the first 6 is achieved by pressing the button marked 1 repeatedly, the 1 by pressing button 2 etc..., followed by button 5 to store the code.
If you've been doing that, maybe someone will double check, I guess there is more than 1 M series generator out there
