aaron.daly likely reasons of failure , in fact the only reason that the code fails ,

1) how did you find the code ....... written down ???? in Service book?


But is that book linked to the radio. can't be sure.
So , if haven't yet removed radio from dashboard , this is the time to do so .
Check details on the back of the radio and post back
