    Querosvan code is 3568
  • Hello,

My serial number is M006246 for my Fiesta CD/Radio.

Would love it if someone could get me the code. It was written down in my handbook but they must have recorded it wrong as it doesn't work
    Thanks

    bobothebear no problem
    your code is 8996
  • Hello, my garage disconnected my battery during it's MOT and its asking for the code. The car was my brothers before mine and a mix up on his part with remembering the code to a phone area code caused me to put the wrong number in 3 times. Now the dashes are no longer flashing and I can't enter a code. I thought they only locked after 10 incorrect codes? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Also, is there any way to take the radio out to see the serial number without using specific ford tools, which I don't want to buy? I can only find two screws for the dash. One under the cig lighter and one in the roof of the ashtray.

My car is 1995 mk3 ford fiesta and the radio is the same as this:

Forget screws, Suggest the wirecoat hanger trick

First thing to try , find a wire coat hanger.
Cut off the two corners, allowing at least 6 inches on each arm.
Bend wire until you can insert both ends into the ( same side) holes
Same with other piece of wire.

Push into holes firmly ( they should go in number of inches.)
The square holes are in the corners, on the front of the radio, seen on your photo

You now have a radio with a couple of loops sticking out.
    Push loops outwards and wriggle.
Radio not you , gentle pull.

Try leaving it switched on ...undisturbed for a couple of hours and that should normally , automatically reset it.
  • thank you so much
    it works famously
  • Cheers! I'll give that a go tomorrow. I might try unconnecting the battery to reset it, I don't think I can be bothered to leave the engine running for a couple of hours.
  • I got excited and went and gave it a go. The wire hanger worked excelently(with a bit of heavy persuasion). The serial on top is:

    SSPM196324

Is that what I need to get the unlock code?
  • Hi, Can anyone get the radio code for unit serial no. M148300?
    Thanks in anticipation.
