  • Hi There. . .

was wondering if any kind sould out there could help me?

I have a ford4500 RDS EON and do not have the code to unlock it :-( (new battery caused it to lock on me!)
Have managed to find out the serial no. which is: M 005788

I see that you can pay to do it online but then found this thread so thought I would give it a shout.

Would be very grateful if anyone can help!

    Thanks :-D

  • I don't know how you have found that so quickly. . . but I will rush out to my car immediately and give it a go! If it works, well, I can only say that I am extremely grateful!

    Thanks a LOT

Try pressing 6&2 together, if that does not show the M****** serial then removing the unit from the dash is the only way.

    Thanks for your reply
I tried 6&2 and got the following, but not sure which one is serial no.
    255 DP MV SH
    0 5070 1940
    CD 09-00-00

    none I'm afraid!
Looks like you are going to have to remove the unit.
    have a look here: http://www.fitaudio.com/index.php?CategoryID=13
this should give you an idea how to do it.
NOTE, you do NOT have to buy special keys, a couple of thin screw drivers or bits of a wire coat hanger AND a little patience will get you there
