Hi, Need a code for my ford focus.Can you please advise where I find the serial number - do I need to pull the radio out ?? Sorry if this has already been asked.

Just seen the asnwer to my Q a few pages back. Will try and get SN number once the 30 minsute count down for the wrong number has completed !!!

Can anyone help to find me the code for my ford stereo please? I have pressed numbers 1 +6 together and the number given looks different from most on here, altough mine is a cassette player rather than a cd player. But would still be nice to be able to listen to the radio again whilst driving.

Car is a V reg Ford Focus, stereo is 5000rds and the SN is - MGPDJ5408 (not sure if it's a 5 or an S coming up on the screen). Hope someone can help

Sorry looks like you are going to have to remove it

Thanks but unfortunately that code didn't work!? Not sure what im doing wrong, that may not be my serial number is all I can think as it appears on screen as B301259 after pressing 1+6.

Its a 4500 RDS E.O.N radio if that makes any difference.

Appreciate any help anyone can give me!!

That IS the code for that serial
You are going to have to remove the unit and get the serial from the back of it
