OK just pressed the 6 and 1 together and got
50702201 DP MV SH 81-10-00
its a 6000 cd rds
hopefully I havn't mixed up the S for 5 or visa versa

Sorry...this is not the correct Serial Number

It usually begins with M++++++ or V++++++

The radio will have to be removed from the dashboard and quote the Serial Number found on a label on the casing
