just use 4 pieces of a metal coat hanger, put them in the 4 holes in the corners of the stereo and push them outwards and pull forward at the same time, it will release the stereo, or otherwise they cost £5 in halfords :-):j

Better way , the two lower corners of the wire coat hanger . This gives you the two 'u' bends , then insert the four ends into the holes . The wire needs to go a number of inches ( you cant do any damage).
Then push loops sideways and pull towards you.
