I changed the battery on my 106 Independence 2003 (52 plate) and then found I don't have the code to reset the radio.

    Can anyone help?
    It is a PU-2294a(C)
    Serial number CL040130855855

    Thanks

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
    C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
    (Note ...not beginning with CL.)

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio

Hi sorry if this is written as a reply I was just wondering if PHILAURA2009 could help me I bought a car and the CD player I got with it is asking for a code if I gave you the make, model and serial number could you get a code for me it would be very much appreciated

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.

Also quote the make of car

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

Hi can anybody help me with my radio code?

It is a philips 22rc465/35s from a 1999 citroen xsara
Im not sure which is the serial could be....phacdfx8102341
    if not fd0599238102341

    Thanks in Advance!
Also post the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes
  • Hi sorry about that. is it a clarion? if so i need the last 4 digits on the lower barcode cheers

    Hi
Welcome to the forum and I hope you get your radio code sorted.

Please do not take offence but there are several regular posters who can supply codes for various makes and models, some are able to do most makes, others only one or two.

Trying to decode a radio and posting an incorrect code helps no one. If you wish to help others then by all means get proficient, sit back and watch, check the results of back requests and see if they match your decoding. Then by all means jump in, all help gratefully accepted;)
